Welcome to my eclectic blog called "Gloriously Lavender". This is my first personal blog and it will be eclectic. I haven't planned what I'm going to put here, but I think it will be things I find inspiring, funny, sad, and sometimes personal.
When I was a kid, my room was lavender. It wasn't my parents doing, but it seemed to suit me. My room was down the hall from my parents and across the hall from the main bathroom. I had a canopy bed, nightstand, dresser, tall chest of drawers, and a desk with a hutch. It was all French Provincial. I don't know what was up with that, because most of our furniture was Early American. However, it all seemed to go with the lavender walls and I didn't mind.
